Welcome to the website of LUST – Leicester University Student Television. Since 2003, LUST has been providing high-quality programming to the student body of the University of Leicester, with a focus on producing high-quality entertainment programming as well as covering the issues which are important to the student body.

LUST  is affiliated with the University of Leicester Student Union as a media department, and is also a founding member of the National Student Television Awards (NaSTA). The culmination of NaSTA is the annual awards ceremony, at which LUST has been presented with:

• 2006 Award for Best Light Entertainment Programme
• 2008 Award for Best Promo
• 2008 Highly Commended for Best Broadcaster award
• 2009 Highly Commended for Best Light Entertainment Programme award
• 2010 Winners of the ‘Golden Bodge’ Award
• 2011 Highly Commended for Best Freshers’ Coverage award

Membership of LUST is open to any current student of the University of Leicester, and new members are always welcome. As well as being invaluable experience for anybody considering a future career in the media, member of LUST is also great fun – and our diverse member base is comprised of students from a very wide variety of courses.
